Philippe Orreindy began by making commissions from large companies, short films on cultural subjects, and documentaries for television. He has concentrated on drama since his short film I’ll Wait for the Next One was nominated for an Oscar and a Cesar and won more than 35 international awards including the European Film Award.He is also a scriptwriter and he has just completed in 2017 his next short film, « Everyday », pre- sold by France 2. He still enjoys making 52’ documentaries and is convinced that the two genres are intricately linked. Electro ocean received the Sacem Award for best musical documentary in 2016.
