GOLDEN FRAME AWARD FOR BEST SHORT FILM

The winner of the best short film goes to the Indian Film I EXIST, directed by Radhika Prasadhi and Vivek Raju, for tackling a very important and sensitive subject in an unusual manner. The jury found it to be the most personal film for its use of editing, cinematography, direction and specially its brilliant performance by the lead actor Radhika Prasadhi.



HONORABLE MENTION AWARD 1

The jury has decided to bestow an honorable mention award to the Puertorican film TILL JAIL DO US APART directed by Mariana & Joserro Emmanuelli for its light hearted and humorous screenplay that is original bitter sweet tribute to the institution of marriage.

HONORABLE MENTION AWARD 2

The jury would also like to bestow on honorable mention award to the Dutch film SYMMETRY directed by Ruben Van Leer for its unique technical and creative achievements and successfully blending of artistic forms of ballet, opera & cinema and meeting them into one.



GOLDEN FRAME AWARD FOR BEST INDYWOOD PANORAMA FILM

The award for the Best Indywood Feature Film goes to NIRBASHITO – a film about a writer who is banished from a familiar cultural milieu to another country with all the material comforts, but she pines for her homeland, human connection and pet cat. The director has handled this film with immense sensitivity and subtlety using minimal music and stunning visuals.



GOLDEN FRAME AWARD FOR BEST DEBUT DIRECTORS FEATURE FILM

The award for the Best The award for the Best debut goes to Carlo Enciso Catu, director of MY LIFE WITH A KING, for his effective projection of cultural extinction through the withering of a language, in an increasingly globalised world.



HONORABLE MENTION AWARD

The jury makes a special mention of Pinar Sinan, the director of NEKRO, for daring to debut with a film about individuals unable to cope with normality.

GOLDEN FRAME AWARD FOR BEST DOCUMENTARY AND DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM

The winner of Best Documentary and Documentary Feature Film goes to 100 MULES WALKING THE LOS ANGELES AQUEDUCT a moving installation which gives the audience the same sense of meditation, patience and reckoning that the 240 miles occurred in the people who participated in it. The music, cinematography and the treatment of the film elevated the aim of the film.

HONORABLE MENTION AWARD

The honorable mention for Best Documentary and Documentary Feature Film goes to THE GARDEN OF HOPE,. The visual treatment of the film was impressive by using the camera by the victims themselves on their on prospective about the terrible conditions and lives.



GOLDEN FRAME AWARD FOR BEST FEATURE FILM

The award for the Best Feature Film at All Lights India International Film Festival goes to MASAAN - a human document which convinces us that, despite failings, accidents and death there is hope of new beginnings in life.

The jury makes an honorable mention of BEN & ARA for making a case in favour of breaking taboos of religion & sex and respecting choices in troubled times.



GOLDEN FRAME PEOPLE CHOICE AWARD

The Golden Frame award for the Best People Choice Award goes to Seven Ravens by Alice Nellis, based on the number of votes it received through the voting.



NETPAC AWARD FOR THE BEST ASIAN CINEMA

The award for the Best NETPAC Film goes to MINA WALKING for its brilliant, provocative and innovative attempt to capture the life and suffering of war torn Afghan Society through an innocent Kabul girl.
